Getting the Ducks in a Row

Posted November 2nd, 2005 by Jessica

As mentioned last month, in less than two weeks, we make our debut as a exhibitor at Pubcon. As this marks our first venture into the exhibitor arena, we were a bit overwhelmed with all of the preparations that needed finalizing. Thus far, the following tasks have been accomplished:

  • Booth rented - we also needed to get electricity and connectivity
  • Travel accommodations procured - we were fortunate enough to have grabbed some of the last rooms at The Renaissance
  • Conference-only directory submission promotion created
  • Ordered the “world famous” BOTW t-shirts
  • Ordered new business cards and handouts for the booth
  • Finalized the details of the booth give-away prizes
  • Ordered a booth back-drop, instead of the standard conference banner
  • Still so many details to wrap up. Just think what it will be like when one of us is asked to present (not-too-subtle hint, Brett). Luckily only the smaller details remain, so we should be able to wrap un all plans in the next couple of days.

At this point, we still have a handful of discounted passes. If you are interested in heading to Vegas for the WMW conference, and still don’t have passes (gasp), let us know.
